Infection-Control Risk Assessment
(ICRA), a multidisciplinary process for reducing risk from infection throughout facility planning, design, and construction activities. Joint Commission standards require hospitals to maintain an Infection Control Risk Assessment program for all construction; the AIA publishes guidelines for this process.
