Hydrochlorofluorocarbons
(HCFC), chemical compounds consisting of hydrogen, chlorine, fluorine, and carbon that have been used as substitutes for chlorofluorocarbons because of their reduced ozone depleting effects and are now being phased out in favor of Hydrofluorocarbons.
