Global Warming Potential

Global Warming Potential
(GWP), an estimate of how much a greenhouse gas contributes to global warming over a specific time interval. This is a relative scale that compares other gasses to the same mass of carbon dioxide, by definition the global warming potential of carbon dioxide is one.
